Our taxi driver recommended this place. The food was great and the service was excellent. The wine was also very good, My husband liked the beer selection as well.

Lovely food and well served seafood showder and Irish bacon & cabbage, just took a bit longer but it’s fine.
I've eaten ... an made ... my share of Irish and Guinness stews over the years, so I have something of a working knowledge of the dish. That's why I'm asking this question: How can lamb that has been simmering for hours in a flavorful...More

Perfect service with a smile and a decent joke. Went there 3 times in one week! Food was also excellent, loved the seafood chowder, fish and chips. No one had a bad meal. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed this restaurant. I had the appetizer mussels, and they were delicious. And there were plenty for my meal along with a salad and, of course, brown bread.
Stopped in for lunch with another couple. Nice atmosphere and good service. My curry was rather bland. Others were satisfied with their food. Not a bad spot for a quick lunch.

Visited recently with my wife for a Saturday lunch. Was quite bust but the very friendly waitress found us a table after a few minutes waiting at the bar. Had a most delicious lunch and would recommend the seafood chowder and a door-stop sandwich.
Called in for lunch with some friends. The place was packed, but they rearranged tables so we could eat together. Good choice on menu and everyone enjoyed what they had. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Would recommend this place for lunch.
Big space, big tables and lovely atmosphere. Good service, in the middle of the town, well know place and good timetable.
We ate at the Laurels based on recommendations of several people. Sure enough, the food was outstanding! The steak was perfect! And the potato cakes were absolutely yummy... get them!
Went with our family of 4, it was crowded but lucked out and got seated immediately. Lively atmosphere, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious! Potato cake sampler was great!
