We went to another restaurant in one of the local hotels where we had our roast chicken for €19! Please please don’t get greedy restaurant owners! The Laurels is a wonderful traditional Killarney pub which has been run by the O’Leary family for over a century. And little has changed in that time. Tiled floors and beamed ceilings, lots of alcoves and dimly lit corners, friendly and attentive staff, all contribute to the charm of The Laurels. During the season, live music and Irish dancing add another dimension. And all year round, appetising food is served.
